And from my laundry room comes the sound of spring:

CHICKIE, UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
BLACK COCHINS AND WHITE LEGHORNS
Weather unaccounted for, spring is in the air!

Have you ever made any of the copycat Levain Cookies out there? I've been involved in the whole loop of trying to get their recipe just right. A couple recipes are on my blog for it. But my new latest favorite clone of Levain's amazing cookie is at www.lisamichele.wordpress.com
It's DARN good. Still, there is nothing like a fresh Levain at their bakery. I may be their biggest fan. ;)
Levain Cookie copycats are on my list of things to bake. Secretly I want to take a quick trip to NY just to sample their cookies. I know I can mail order, but that's just not the same, right? I'm not so sure hubbie would be up for NY for a cookie. All that to say that I'm going to have to peruse your site for copycat recipes and give them the ol' college try!
